Winemaker, Bruce Devlin, says that the wine has a refined palate with full rich silky tannins adding strength to the finish. He further states that the flavors on the palate mimic those from the nose but, are more focused on fresh cherries and pastry dough. Sourced from the Pocai’ Vineyard, Karl Lawrence’s 2018 vintage is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon blended with 7% Petite Sirah, 3% Mablec, 1.5% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot, and 0.5% Lagrein.
